The modular partition wall SKY The modular partition wall SKY is composed of vertical aluminium perimetral structure inserted in two pre-painted steel elements, both of them finished with a soft PVC seal to ensure a better soundproofing. An adjustable aluminium spacer, placed in the perimetral structure, guarantees the perfect alignment of the partition wall. Thanks to particular hooks it is possible to fix two anodised aluminium profiles with rounded section as a frame, where the glass plates 10 or 12 mm thick are held in place and compose in such a way the modular partition wall. The vertical junction between glasses is composed of a special glossy adhesive that does not disturb the transparency and continuity of the glass surface; by the way it is possible to substitute the glossy adhesive with an anodised aluminium profile.
Two different kinds of doors are available: folding or sliding doors both of them are always in glass. Folding doors have a perimetral frame with rounded section and for particular heights (250/280 cm) it is possible to have the same door without the perimetral frame but directly fixed with special hinges to the lateral fixed glass. The sliding doors slide on spheres hidden inside the aluminium profiles finished with brushes-gaskets to achieve a perfect alignment during the sliding phase. To insert the door element it is not necessary in both versions to use structural vertical frame, permitting in this way to the SKY system to maintain a special elegance and lightness which is its main characteristic. Even the choice of the handles takes particular care to the design, the folding door has a compact handle finished in anodised aluminium, while the sliding one has a vertical handle in satin steel with a height of 45cm. (standard height) or of 125cm. It is possible also to have locks with keys and the locking system is hidden inside the handle to leave SKY elegance untouched. |
