The modular partition wall CONVEX is composed of vertical aluminium supporting frames and horizontal metal junctions. The entirely assembled structure is inserted in two horizontal (inferior and superior) pre-painted steel elements, both of them finished with a soft PVC seal with a dust proof function. This ensures a better soundproofing, which is also improved by the insulating material. Soundproofing can be as high as 45 db with 500 Hz frequencies by using insulating materials. The structure has been designed to house any electric connection or telephone lines etc.
The finished blind panel is 10.10 cm thick and is composed of two plastic laminated 18 mm hardboards: The coated surface is scratchproof, antireflection and washable. The finished glass module is 10.10 cm thick and is made up of a glass plate, inserted in an anodised aluminium double frame with rounded section.
Doors may be either with blind panel (the structure is plastic laminated fir bee-nest panel, with the same finishing as the wall blind panels) or in toughened glass, in this case it can be either polished or with a perimetrical aluminium frame, the three types of doors are always fixed in a double aluminium frame with rounded section and perimetrical dutral gaskets, the colour available is : silver anodised.
Doors are fitted with hinges in aluminium that open at 175°. All the surfaces are compliant with the regulations in force concerning the release of toxic and noxious substances such as FORMALDEHYDE (panels are Class E1). Blind panels, door frames and glass frames are fixed in the vertical bearing elements by means of special fire-retardant PVC hooks and they can be easily inspected at any time. An adjustable aluminium spacer, placed between the panel corner lines, guarantees the alignment of the elements also in case of irregularities in the masonry.
The modules of the "Convex" partition wall allow the various elements to be inserted, moved or modified in any position and at any time to meet the user's needs. |
